Sarah has been running a microbakery from Clarence House since early 2022, and the therapeutic effects of the baking smells wafting through the building fit rather nicely with the other therapies that take place under its roof. She sends out a weekly newsletter to her mailing list announcing the breads, buns and other bakes on offer the following week, and customers order online then pop in to collect their orders on a Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Beautiful organic ingredients and no nasties  –  a world away from supermarket fayre. Sarah also runs regular baking classes which are a wonderful introduction to making your own bread  –  and make excellent gifts (that give back, in the form of armfuls of bread at the end of the day!). Such a lovely way to spend a day, in good company and making delicious breads, acquiring new skills. She is always welcoming new customers, and you can either find her in the lower ground floor or sign up on her website  –  rosewallbakery.co.uk

"I thoroughly recommend this short course to everybody, it is not only incredibly enjoyable but also incredibly useful for any bread makers, whether already expert or still inexperienced but keen to learn. Thank you Sarah, it was a memorable day and enormously enjoyable."

"I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this course to others. You are an inspiring teacher and the day felt like a wonderful treat!"

"My friend who came too is an experienced bread maker, but she learnt so much in Sarah’s kitchen  –  so this day course is perfect for beginners and more experienced bakers alike. A really fun, action packed day, with lots of samples along the way!"
