Welcome to Clarence House Exercise From Scratch

 

Jane Bolt, Chartered Physiotherapist runs Exercising from Scratch classes at Clarence House aimed at those who would like to get fitter but are not sure how to get started and do not feel fit enough to attend other exercise classes. The exercises are very gentle, done in sitting or standing and work on getting you more mobile   Each week includes some tips about getting active and each session finishes with relaxation. There is a follow- on group called Keep Moving.

Jane is a Chartered Physiotherapist who leads exercise group programmes at Clarence House. These are especially designed for those who are less fit and mobile but would like to be doing some regular exercise to help improve their health. All the exercises are done in sitting or standing and there is no lying down involved. Exercising from Scratch is the 6 week starter group which not only gives you an easy regime of exercises that can be done at home every day but also helps you understand how to

go about getting fitter and each session finishes with a relaxation. Exercising from Scratch happens at intervals though the year. There is a weekly follow up group called Keep Moving for those who would like to continue beyond Exercising from Scratch. Jane’s background is in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy with many years experience of working with those who have chronic pain or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME.
